Whether it is ethical to ‘save’ 60 000 by depriving vurnable people from the minimum of what one needs to live, is highly questionable, regardless of what has been wasted or not.

@galadrial - So that $60,000 is what the state saves by not paying social benefits to those who test positive for drugs? It makes me wonder what it costs to process these people through the justice system for the crimes they could potentially commit to get their needs met. I suspect these 2% would cost more to our justice system.
@complicatedlight - Of course. Worse, the Governor’s wife may have supplied a lot of the testing, which makes it unethical as all hell…but Scott isn’t what you call highly ethical anyway.
