I will not tolerate that. I can’t stop people from being hateful, or ignorant, but I don’t have to have it in my part of the web.

I watched that and it made so sad. I firmly believe that karma will attend to people with attitudes like that. They make their own nest of thorns.
@FrenzElectric - I hope that is so. When i was pregnant, my ONLY thought was HEALTHY, please? And maybe smart? My daughter was never supposed to be anyone but WHO SHE IS…not who I wanted her to be. Not who I wished I had been.

me too. I also want stupid peple to unfriend me, and cowards to unfriend me. I’d rather not have them, qality not quatity.
This is disgusting. I’d say that I can’t believe this sort of hate speech still exists in 2012, but it actually feels like this is new and unique to our generation, like humanity is continually paving new roads toward being stupid as all fuck rather than progressing in any way.

If people have any questions…I’ve always held that if you take out the word gay, and put in ANY ethnicity or gender, and it is insulting? THEN IT’S A FUCKING INSULT if they are gay.
Grow a brain.

I feel the same way about various issues. If someone has any hate in their heart for women, minorities, gays, the disabled, the poor… want to be writing or recommending posts about “those people”… calling human beings “animals”…”N-words”… “bitches”… etc…. just unfriend me because I don’t want that trash in my inbox.

on one hand, i hope those people end up with gay children… and that those gay children some day come across this.
on the other, i’d like to see those people forcibly sterilized, because no child (gay or straight or bi or anything) deserves THAT for a parent.
@flapper_femme_fatale - I couldn’t wish that on their kids…they will face enough from a world full of hypocrites…to have that from their parents as well? Not acceptable…
@galadrial - true. it just reminds me of a great line from a book i just finished: some people need a hard lesson to learn from their experiences. other people ARE the hard lesson.
