Jesus NEVER Said that...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cXTOlqb0f9o&feature=related
But haters are gonna hate.
I loathe that expression...but it fits.
My daughter's dad road his first Patriot Guard Mission last year, when a young local man died in Iraq, and the Westboro Baptist VERMIN (I won't call those bigoted lunatics a church) tried to crash his funeral with their insane hateful agenda.
Jesus NEVER told anyone to hate anyone else...and anyone who says that is a LIAR.
Happy Easter, to those who don't believe you have to lie to glorify your God...

just watched the video, that is so great that those guys go out there to hide those lunatics. God bless them.
indeed.
The WBC is a great example of a cafeteria church. They quote the parts of the Bible they agree with and ignore the rest. It's too bad they can't at least be like a lot of the other cafeteria churches and agree with the loving thy neighbor part while ignoring all the stuff about the consequences of not doing so.
That video made me tear up. I'm so glad that those amazing bikers are doing that for the fallen heroes.

While i don't support violence...i did find this account very satisfying....
I'm an atheist and I think these guys are awesome : ) (The bikers I mean).
@galadrial - That was nice : ) Especially the parking behind anyone with kansas plates thing, that was brilliant.
that's great. it's great when people of conscience take it upon themselves to oppose people without.
@TheSutraDude - yes, in life and on a blog. too rare.
How could someone so twisted could think that funerals is not off limits? There have been shootings at motorcycle gang funerals and I believe that the Syrians could not bury their dead in private either. Bothering a funeral is sinking to a new low. But maybe there are ways to counteract such fringe groups? Looks like Galadrial has highlighted some ways it is possible.
I think we should feed these vermin to Al Qaeda.
I do not think free speech should be extended to military funerals. The government needs to stop tiptoeing and seriously crack down on this. Violating their right to be blatantly hatred is not violating any law of legitimacy.
@galadrial - YES. " He got his ass kicked. Despite a large crowd in the area no one remembers seeing anything." I love this.
If I am ever near these people and they are saying hateful things, I will stand right in front of them and say "get the fuck off my street before I blow your fucking head off." Obviously by then I will have a gun, or I will pretend to. Or I will be walking my future Rottweiler. But I will definitely be very well trained in martial arts already.
Last year, when they had the boy's funeral, all the local motels refused to rent rooms to them in Bordentown. They still showed---but they were no where near the church...that's something. AND there were THOUSANDS of people who turned out, to respect, and protect the funeral.
This is a real pet peeve, always has been. The people who yell the loudest never say what he was saying. I hate organized religions, all of them, especially christianity, they make it how they want to hear it and then invoke God - supposedly god told them they could fuck you up any way they want to. it's evil.
i will watch later. gonna put together kid's easter basket.
God bless those Patriot Riders. That church needs to be run out of town and dumped in the middle of a swamp where they will be as stagnant as their way of thinking.
@agnophilo - LOL! I thought you meant Westboro Baptist at first... glad you clarified or some shit was going to go down.
@RockOfEadie - Heh : )
@PPhilip - To be fair they wouldn't do it if the media didn't keep rewarding them for bad behavior. They do it to get on tv and get people reporting about them. They're basically sarah palin but fundamentalists.
@agnophilo - Except they have made huge amounts of money suing people....the media could ignore them---but since they've made money doing it, I'm pretty sure they wouldn't stop.
@galadrial - Oh yeah, that too.
They should all just die.
@agnophilo - Pretty sure they are not going to oblige us.
Only the good die young...
@galadrial - On a related note, did you know the guy who played jesus in "the passion" was struck by lightning no less than 4 times during the filming of the movie? He said in a press conference that satan was trying to stop the film from being made... yeah, that's the only explanation.
May God bless them all.
