  • gee, that tells us a lot.

Too long or a waste of time, like this post…I haven’t figured you out yet.

I just know we are siblings in chronic pain suffering.

  • life is like this a lot. at least it tells us we’re alive

  • @Bricker59 - I recommend you never figure her out.  Once you get somebody figured out, if you don’t like them they’re forever fucked so far as you being their friend.  I’m just sayin but you know it’s true!

  • Hope all is well……….

  • @TheSutraDude - I just got an unexpected sweet kind comment on xanga from someone who prefers not to be on my friends list, and it shocked me – I actually put my hand to my chest, like, litierally.

It’s the nice stuff that totally throws me off my game

  • all I can think to say to you right now is

hugs hugs hugs hugs hugs hugs hugs

  • My life is entering a new place…a new stage.

I’ve decided to jettison the stuff i don’t need—inside and out, and now I have to actually Do the work. Some days I feel giddy…others…sort of terrified. Changing who you are is so difficult…and when you are past 50, you’re supposed to “settle”…not be churning up the water. That was never me…

  • @Bricker59 - Hey there…thank you. Believe it or not, I was pleased to meet you, and know that we share that…chronic pain isolates you…and people who never have gone through it really have no clue.

I saw something today that upset me. I was down in a local parking lot, and a woman was trying to unload her cart. She was walking stiff—a newbie. I am betting she had low back surgery recently, and is still healing. But she got in the way of this BITCH…who gave her hell because her friend parked at the front of the aisle. The newbie freaked out…it never occurred to her that people could be that rude…I felt bad for her…and wondered what the other woman’s issue was. She was SERIOUSLY PISSED off…but she was not inconvenienced more than ten seconds.

I’m starting to wonder if advocating for chronic pain patients is going to be part of my new life…but we shall see!

  • @atticusfin - Oh…i’ll be ok…i occasionally power down…ty for the concern!

  • @DivaJyoti - Thanks sweetie…just in the process of re-creation!

  • @galadrial - no no no, must keep churning.

once a real, genuine churner, always one.

    you know you gotta.

  • If you’re in the mood for a serious mind fuck go try to read Truns latest blog.

you can thank me later.   she has an amazing knack for making a person go

what in the HELL are you trying to say again?

  • @DivaJyoti - No Diva, you’re wrong. I’ve been nice to you for quite a while now…think about it, you know it’s true.

I see things in black and white…but I know grey when I see it.

  • @galadrial - a new life would scare me but sometimes it is necessary

new life or die–for me atm it seems to be so

and people who live with chronic pain are the bravest people imo

  • Okay the ONLY reason I came here is because I thought the title was ‘pensieve’ as in the memory thing from Harry Potter. ::hangs head in shame:: lol

  • @Bricker59 - OH totally you have been nice and I’ve appreciated it!  You don’t want to be my friend or anything, that’s all I meant.  You’re nice to me but kind of ‘cool and aloof’ it’s totally better then before.

    I know.

    poor thing, me.

  • @galadrial - I’m with you…People can’t see pain..so we are MISUNDERSTOOD!!

    frankly, I’m tired of it.

  • @Shadowrunner81 - I make the occasional typo…but i try to keep them out of my headlines…MAN that is so low rent!

  • I’ve been there often.  I think you’re on the right track with getting rid of things you don’t need and changing.  Change in my personal life is the medicine I take for that ailment and it’s worked pretty well so far.
